Use Private Space

Manage private files separately on supported clients, protect access, and understand import and restore actions.

For mobile, tablet, or desktop clients that provide Private Space; not a TV walkthrough.

01Set up access verification

Configure a PIN or biometrics in privacy settings. Keep your PIN and read the reset warning; do not assume a reset preserves access to existing files.

02Import a small sample

Start with one backed-up file. Confirm that it opens in Private Space and check whether the original remains according to the prompt.

03Manage and restore files

Use the menu to rename, move, share, or restore. Restore, export, and delete are different actions. Sharing or exporting can create a file readable by another app.
